The campus is beautiful, and there is so much to do and get involved with. With organization fairs and constant cycling of flyers, there are many chances to develop different skills whether through the arts, recreational sports, community service, etc. Teachers are very accessible and definitely care about student success. Involvement is HUGE at the College of Charleston because the school recognizes that inclusion is important and isolation can create problems, support systems are healthy and the lack thereof can be stressful, mindfulness can generate lasting bonds and disregard for others can conjure uncomfortable and uneasy spaces.
The College is not perfect, but what makes it the best, is its determination to improve. The College of Charleston has assisted in making some of my dreams come true, and I definitely recommend people to attend.
